Communication is the number one skill employers look for in their employees.  Lacking effective communication skills also increases negative conflict in teams and reduces employee productivity. Through this workshop you will learn how to enhance your ability to be understood, connect with others, and increase your ability to impact others.  Learn the hidden art of meta-programming communication and discover new possibilities to improve your communication.




Presenter:  Steve Winfrey
Steve received his B.S. in Psychology and M.A. in Counseling and College Student Development from Creighton University in Omaha, NE.  He is working on his Ph.D. at North Dakota State University in Institutional Analysis focusing on accelerated learning techniques, mindsets, and their impact on college student retention and persistence.  Steve has worked in the field of Higher Education and Leadership Development for the past 18 years.  He has developed and implemented multiple leadership development programs for various universities and companies.  He has consulted for companies such as Best Buy, Target, and Medtronic.  Steve is currently the Director of the Memorial Union at NDSU at oversees the Masters of Success Advanced Leadership Development program.
