Jessica Wetsch, learning an performance guru, is prepared to share her secrets for effective distance training. Sharpen your skills in planning and delivering effective distance learning sessions. Hear how to adapt and apply training delivery principles to distance learning training. Learn how to incorporate interactive delivery techniques and methods in distance learning. See how to multitask while handling technology barriers. Give all of your learners a high quality training experience!

 

Jessica Wetsch is a Learning and Performance Manager with Aetna, Inc.  She has eighteen years of expertise in healthcare insurance and twelve years of experience with Learning and Performance Training.  Her background includes implementation of extensive large scale training programs related to new hire training, system changeover, acquisitions and cross training of operational staff both stateside and international.  She has demonstrated competence of quality improvement initiatives.  She partners with operations management to ensure both operations and training objectives are met.  She manages 11 trainers stateside and is management aligned to three international training teams.

Jessica is a resident of Bismarck along with her husband Mike and children Kinley (6) and Jaxon (4).  She graduated from Bismarck State College and Dickinson State University with an emphasis on English.  Jessica is actively involved in Sunrise PTO serving as President Elect for 2018-2019 and will be President for 2019-2020 and is also a member of the BECEP parent action committee.  She is passionate for Relay for Life serving as Team Co-captain of a Relay for Life team for the past five years, personally raising over $25,000 during that time.  Jessica is also actively involved in the Little Free Pantry expansion in Bismarck-Mandan and is a recent graduate of Leadership Bismarck- Mandan Class of 2018.

 

Location: Great Plains Room of the BSC Student Union.  Networking luncheon from 11:30 am - 11:55am.  You are welcome to bring lunch or purchase one from the BSC Mystic CafĂ©.
